Negative pressure conveying system is another type of pneumatic conveying. It may be defined as the transportation of powder or granular through a confined channel (e.g. pipeline) by means of suction air or other gas (e.g. Nitrogen, Carbon dioxide).This definition is also because of the air or gas inside the channel is in negative pressure.

▲ Product receiver at atmospheric pressure

▲ No cooling of conveying air required

▲ No powder leakage happens even though the pipelines are not connected and enclosed completely

▲ Receiver under vaccum

▲ Maximum conveying pressure -0.4~0.5 kPa so the conveying distance and conveying capacity is limited.

▲ Only limited dense phase capability.

▲ The energy consumption is higher compared with positive pressure conveying when conveying the same amount of material.
